Interested in volunteering for Tall Ships Erie 2022?

Volunteers must participate in a security training session to work on the festival grounds
 

The information sessions should last approximately one hour. Volunteers will meet event organizers and learn festival schedules, details, and opportunities for needed volunteers. Individuals already signed up as volunteers can come to the sessions to better understand their position. Volunteers will only need to attend one of the training sessions. You do NOT need to register in advance to attend an in-person session, we will have a signup sheet at the entrance to confirm your attendance and register you in InitLive.

 

The current training sessions are set to run as follows, for those who are able and willing to assist with sales, Tuesday morning (08/23/22) will also include trainings on the Point of Sale terminals.

Update: By popular request, we have added Zoom Video Training options to our roster of available mandatory security trainings for Sunday the 21st and Tuesday the 23rd. The online trainings are live events only and require pre-registration + a free zoom account to access.

If you are able to attend an in-person session, we strongly encourage you to do so to discuss roles and meet staff

Vendor Opportunities

Tall Ships® Erie 2022 will be held on August 26 - 28, 2022. Tall Ships® Erie 2019, presented by Highmark, brought 90,000 visitors to our area to witness a gathering of majestic tall ships and immerse themselves in sailing and local culture. We are thrilled that our venue will remain the same as it was in 2019, with all vendors being featured at the Maritime Marketplace in the great hall of the Erie Bayfront Convention Center. We are considering suggestions and comments from 2019 and are working to make this the best ever Maritime Marketplace at Tall Ships® Erie, presented by Highmark! After our long pandemic-induced hiatus, we anticipate record crowds and renewed enthusiasm for this year’s event, and we invite you to be a part of the festival. 

A big draw to the Bayfront Convention Center Pier will be the larger ships with the day sailing vessels moved to Dobbins Landing. This will ensure larger crowds throughout the day and all weekend in the convention center building. We are working with a compressed timeline this year. For booth pricing, hours, and to secure a place at all Ships® 2022, presented by Highmark, please submit the completed vendor contract at your earliest convenience. Submit via email to vendor@tallshipserie.org. Booth location assignments will be made as the contracts and payment in full are received. The booth fee deposit and completed contract must be received by August 1, 2022 for inclusion in the Marketplace Map, guidebook, and other printed promotional material.
